Lacazette's long-awaited Arsenal arrival was officially announced on Thursday morning (AEST), with the transfer fee outstripping the club's previous record £42.5 million ($72 million) paid to Real Madrid for Mesut Ozil in 2013.
After announcing the arrival of the star France striker, the Gunners said in a statement that "he is expected to travel with the tour party to Sydney this weekend."
Arsenal travel to Sydney this weekend before their blockbuster clashes at ANZ Stadium against Sydney FC on July 13 and Western Sydney Wanderers two days later, both live, free and exclusive on SBS VICELAND.
Lacazette, who said he was delighted to join the North Londoners, will then make his home debut at the end of July with the club confirming that is likely to take place "in the Emirates Cup on July 29 or July 30".
"I am, of course. delighted and very proud too because Arsenal is a legendary club," Lacazette told the Gunners' official website after penning the record deal.
"Throughout my childhood, thanks to Thierry Henry and other French players, I always dreamed of playing for this club so that dream has been fulfilled.
"[I like] Arsenal's past – I like clubs with a history. Also the fact that the manager has been here for a while shows it is a stable club, which I like.
Lacazette has 11 France caps and 275 appearances for former club Olympique Lyonnais, where he netted an impressive 129 goals.
