The six riders alongside Sutherland are German Jasha Sütterlin, Spaniards José Joaquín Rojas, Juanjo Lobato, Jesús Herrada and Rubén Fernández, plus Portuguese rider Nelson Oliveira, who will be making his debut with Movistar after two seasons with Lampre-Merida.
Movistar ended the 2015 edition as the best team on aggregate and hopes will again hinge on repeat performances by Fernández, who took a fifth overall placing and third at Willunga, and Lobato who won the stage sprint at Stirling.
