Aussies Abroad: Irvine and Luongo share the spoils, McDonald nets again

Massimo Luongo and Jackson Irvine both played 90 minutes as QPR and Hull City played out a 2-2 draw, while Scott McDonald continued his scoring form in Scotland.

Luongo and Irvine both started for their respective teams in a 2-2 draw at KCOM Stadium in Hull.

Hull City started strong, going into the halftime break with a 2-0 lead, with QPR responding after the break with two goals of their own.

The Tigers are currently in 12th place on the Championship table, while QPR sit in 18th - eight points ahead of relegation-threatened Rotherham United.

Aaron Mooy played a full match for Huddersfield Town in the Premier League as the Terriers' struggles continued with a 4-3 loss to West Ham United.

The 28-year-old provided an assist for Juninho Bacuna's opening goal in the 17th minute.

Elsewhere in England, Mile Jedinak was an unused substitute for Aston Villa in their 3-0 win over Middlesbrough, while defender Cameron Burgess played a full game for Scunthorpe United in their 2-0 loss to Portsmouth.

Mathew Leckie came on in the 77th minute for Hertha BSC in their 3-2 loss to Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund.

In South Korea, Aleksander Jovanic was given a yellow card in Jeju United and Seoul's 0-0 draw while Adam Taggart was introduced in the second half as Suwon Bluewings went down 2-1 to Seongnam.

Brad Jones was in goal for Al-Nassr in their 4-0 win over Al-Wahda in the Saudi Arabian Pro League.

Three Australians played in Scotland overnight, with Mark Milligan deployed defensively in Hibernian's 2-0 defeat of Motherwell.

Ben Garuccio played 90 minutes for Hearts as they went down 1-0 to Hamilton Academical, while Scott McDonald found the back of the net in the 10th minute for Partick Thistle in their 1-1 draw with Falkirk in the Scottish second tier.

Brad Smith set up Manuel Ruidiaz's 88th minute goal as Seattle Sounders defeated Chicago Fire 4-2 in the MLS.
