Rogic's Celtic - also home to Socceroos starlet Daniel Arzani - secured their spot in the Europa League with a comprehensive win against Lithuanian side FK Suduva this week.
The Hoops will open their campaign against Gersbach's Rosenborg at Celtic Park on Friday, September 21 (AEST).
Gersbach and Rogic weren't the only two Socceroos to feature in the draw with Danny Vukovic's KRC Genk set to face off against Besiktas, Malmo and Sarpsborg in Group I, while striker Apostolos Giannou and his Cyprus based side AEK Larnaca will take on Bayer Leverkusen, Ludogorets and FC Zurich in Group A.
In league action, Robbie Kruse returned to form with German second division club Bochum claiming an assist in their 2-2 draw with Paderborn.
Kruse started the match for Bochum and delivered a brilliant pass to Silvere Ganvoula in the 79th minute to help his side snatch a draw.
In the United Arab Emirates, former Sydney FC and Central Coast Mariners attacker Bernie Ibini scored a goal on his debut for Emirates Club.
Ibini found the back of the net after 18 minutes to level the scores for Emirates against Al Ain before being substituted in the 46th minute.
However, it wasn't to be for Ibini's new club as they conceded soon after to Swedish international Marcus Berg before Brazilian midfielder Caio sealed a 3-1 win for Al Ain in the 78th minute.
Also in the Middle East, former A-League stars Jack Duncan, Rhys Williams and Matt Jurman all played 90 minutes for their clubs Al Quadisiya and Al Ittihad.
Duncan and Willams kept a clean sheet for Al Quadisiya in a 0-0 draw against Al Fateh, while Jurman wasn't as lucky with his Al Ittihad side going down 1-0 to Al Shabab
