Mario Balotelli has returned to Liverpool after a loan spell at his former club AC Milan, and seems to enjoy getting among the locals.

Balotelli, who scored three goals in 23 matches last season, posed for photos with newlywed couple Vicky and David O’Leary, reported the Liverpool Echo

Photographer Adam Johns said; "The couple said he was really nice and friendly, and more than happy to have photos taken with them, which made their day with them being such big Reds fans."

“Also the bridesmaids told him that he smells gorgeous!”

It seems unlikely Balotelli will feature much under Jurgen Klopp as the Italian was left out of Liverpool's pre-season tour of the United States and is now training with the under-23 side.

"Since he has been back here, he's been a good guy and I can't say anything different than that," Klopp said earlier this month.

"There will be a club around who would be happy to have a new Mario Balotelli, if you like. I have spoken clearly to the player about that.

"It's now time to make decisions and I try to help Mario to get in the best shape he can be in and we will see what happens."
