Bonjour Le Tour – Best of Lanterne Rouge

The Lanterne Rouge is a must-see segment from our Tour de France preview show, Bonjour Le Tour, where Christophe Mallet explores the unique talking points this year's edition has conjured up.

Be it the feats of the late Raymond Poulidor or the need for Australian riders to arrest their King of the Mountain drought, Mallet delves into the details, all while acknowledging its respective place in cycling's past and present.

Dubbed the 'Lanterne Rouge' in reference to the lantern hung on the vehicle at the rear of a race, the segment poses one last thought to the viewers before they prepare for the next stage of La Grande Boucle.

There have been eight episodes of Bonjour Le Tour thus far, with Mallet a regular member alongside host Katherine Bates, Michael Tomalaris and Dave McKenzie.
