Mariners goalkeeper Reddy could face a lengthy sanction after he appeared to elbow Wellington Phoenix midfielder Jason Hicks, during the New Zealand side's dramatic win in Wellington.

The FFA statement read: "In or around the 64th minute of Central Coast Mariners’ match against Wellington Phoenix on Friday 17 April 2015 an incident involving Liam Reddy (Central Coast Mariners).

"The MRP will reconvene tomorrow afternoon to consider the Citation Incident and any submissions filed by the Player."
