Bournemouth fans fume at Liverpool loanee Wilson's 'disrespectful' decision

On-loan winger Harry Wilson caught the ire of Bournemouth fans on Sunday after he was seen sporting a Liverpool tracksuit during the pair's Premier League clash at Anfield.

Wilson, currently on a season-long loan at the Cherries, was ineligible to play against his parent club, who set a new league record with 22 consecutive home wins.

Goals to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane sealed the Reds' revival, but if Bournemouth fans were already frustrated with the 2-1 result, Wilson's choice of attire only fuelled the fire.

"Harry Wilson wearing a Liverpool jacket while on loan for us is a disgrace. Shouldn't play for us again," one fan wrote via Twitter.

Another fan tweeted: "Harry Wilson being nice and respectful to Bournemouth there, sitting in a Liverpool coat."

The 22-year-old, understandably, received plenty of support from the Liverpool faithful, who remain eager to see him fulfil expectations at Anfield in the near future.

"I feel I've got that decision to make in the summer," Wilson told BT Sport before the match.

"I feel my last two years of loans have been good. I'm finally in the Premier League, which is what I've worked towards.

"In the summer, I'll be concentrating on Wales but once that's done with, I feel I may have a decision to make."

Wilson has produced six goals and two assists in 27 appearances for Bournemouth this season.
