Bozanic joins K-League club

Fringe Socceroo Oliver Bozanic has signed with Pohang Steelers, after spending the previous season with J-League side Ventforet Kofu.

The move was announced Tuesday, with the 28 year-old scheduled for a medical in January with his new club.

Bozanic becomes Pohang's second foreign-born player, joining Brazilian defender Rafael Berger.

The midfielder made 15 appearances across all competitions with Ventforet, scoring one goal, having spent the previous two seasons with Melbourne Victory.

Bozanic has made 13 appearances for the Socceroos, last featuring in the nil-all draw with Macedonia in 2015.
