National Premier League side Broadmeadow proved too good for the CSL visitors, becoming the latest Australian team to defeat a Chinese team after Brisbane's win over Carlos Tevez's Shanghai Shenhua last week.
Both goals were scored in the first-half, courtesy of Pete Haynes and Scott Pettit.
Socceroo Robbie Kruse came on as a second-half substitute while former Adelaide United midfielder James Holland was also included in the matchday squad.
