Chelsea stars make dining fun to dispel boring jibes

Chelsea seems to be sick of being referred to as boring, and the players have taken action to dispel what they believe is a cruel myth.

Blues legend Didier Drogba and his pals took to social media to post this clip of them making a normally mundane dining room gathering far from boring.

Chelsea, which visits Australia for a match against A-League club Sydney FC on 2 June, has gone out of its way in recent days to disprove the theory that its football would cure the most chronic of insomniacs.

At the weekend, boss Jose Mourinho was quick to shut down any Arsenal fans ready to fire the accusation as his team, which has another Premier League title in its sights as other contenders falter.

Chelsea will play its game in hand against relegation-threatened Leicester City on Thursday (AEST) and then faces Socceroos skipper Mile Jedinak’s Crystal Palace on Sunday (AEST).

A win against the Foxes will put Mourinho’s men on 80 points with just four matches remaining of the season, 13 points clear of defending champion Manchester City, which travels to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.
