Dennis just misses Paris-Nice yellow

World hour record holder Rohan Dennis was edged out by just 0.31 seconds in the prologue at Paris-Nice, finishing runner-up to world road champion Michal Kwiatkowski.

Dennis (BMC), starting 55th, sat in the hot seat with a time of 7min 40sec for the 6.7km ride until Kwiatkowski, the 16th to last rider, pushed him into second-place by the slimmest of margins.
