Emotional Suarez chokes up after meeting ill fan

Barcelona striker Luis Suarez is known for his tenacity on the field, but the Uruguayan showed a softer side when he choked up after meeting a young fan suffering from a rare metabolic disorder.

Suarez reflected on his meeting with the young gril, who suffers from Phenylketonuria, a metabolic disorder often referred to as PKU.

The Barca talisman became overwhelemend with emotion when explaining he had never heard of the disease before and was heart broken for the young fan who made him think of his two children.

"All me love and effort from now on is dedicated to help curb this disease, which i had never heard of before," Suarez said.

The little girl then joined Suarez on stage and the former Liverpool forward vowed to dedicate his next goal to her, a nice touch and rare glimpse into his softer side.
