Everything you missed from the EPL festive fixtures

The festive EPL fixtures over the Christmas period provided an overwhelming amount of drama and excitement.

In a crammed 10-game fixture list on Boxing Day, there were 23 goals and some huge shocks along the way. There were plenty off-camera action, eye-catching skills and moments of embarrassment. Sorry Benteke.

Here's all you may have missed.

Louis Van Gaal remains under intense pressure at Manchester United as the Red Devils lost 2-0 to Stoke City. Marco Anautovic and Bojan grabbed the goals as the United failed to do little more than embarrass themselves further.

Tottenham Hotspur dispatched Norwich with ease as they turned the on the style, Erik Lamela's rabona a prime example.

Liverpool were back to winning ways as they put a halt to Leicester City's phenomenal run of form with a 1-0 win. But it should have been 2-0.

Manchester City thumped a sorry Sunderland 4-1 as the Black Cats endured a painful day out, Kevin de Bruyne added salt into the wound with his silky skills.

The biggest shock came at St Mary's stadium where Arsenal lost 4-0 to Southampton. Newcastle Lost 1-0 to Everton, Swansea edged past West Brom by the same scoreline, while there were also draws between Aston Villa and West Ham and Bournemouth and Crystal Palace.

 

O, and Chelsea drew 2-2 with Watford thanks to this penalty from Oscar.
