Swansea fans were filled with hope for a season of success after the Swans claimed a 1-0 win against Burnley in the first week of the Premier League.

Sadly eight weeks on it couldn't be more from the truth with Francesco Guidolin's side languishing in 17th spot after suffering four defeats and a draw since the opening day of the competition.

Swansea will look to their 3-1 victory against Liverpool last season as inspiration for an upset win.

With the rest of the Premier League starting to find their for, Swansea will need to turn it's form around if they are going to avoid battling relegation for the rest of the season.

Liverpool

Liverpool's season couldn't be any more of a contrast to Swansea City's.

Jurgen Klopp's men have started to find the results and stylish football  the Liverpool faithful had expected when the German coach was hired last season.

Wins against Arsenal and Chelsea have been the highlights so far for the Reds silencing the club's doubters.

Nothing less than a win on Saturday will be enough for Klopp's men as they push to extend their winning streak to six games in all competitions.
