The love for Cadel Evans continues to grow as cycling fans near and far flood social media in honour of the Australian's unforgettable Tour de France win in 2011.

Evans is the only Australian to ever win La Grande Boucle and Twitter has been awash with posts paying tribute to the achievement.

We, too, at Cycling Central have remembered Cuddles' extraordinary feat, with the release of a 20-part series documenting Cadel's story, from his early days of mountain biking right through to the battles with Alberto Contador and the Schleck brothers.

The hashtag "CadelTDF10" has become commonplace on the platform over the past two-and-a-half weeks, and here's some of the best tweets thus far.
