FFA Cup Round of 16 fixtures confirmed

Tim Cahill could take to the field in Melbourne City colours for the first time on August 24 with the John van't Schip coached side drawn to take on Brisbane Strikers in the FFA Cup Round of 16.

The match, to be held at Brisbane's Perry Park, is the stand out fixture from the Round of 16 draw which also includes a grudge match between Hume City and Melbourne Victory.

In Victoria, Hume City will host Melbourne Victory at ABD Stadium for the second consecutive year after going down to the A-League club in the 2015 semi-finals 3-0. 

Redlands United will set out to repeat their Round of 32 heroics when they take on Canberra United at Deakin Stadium While Blacktown City hosts Bonnyrigg White Eagles at Lily Homes Stadium.

Match night two is set for Tuesday the 30th August with Daniel McBreen's Edgeworth Eagles and Western Sydney Wanderers FC to go head to head at Magic Park in Newcastle.

Tasmania's Devonport Strikers will be determined to keep their FFA Cup run alive when they host Bentleigh Greens at Valley Road, while the Melbourne Knights welcome Green Gully to Knights Stadium in an all-Victorian affair.

Hyundai A-League side Sydney FC  will make the trip west to take on Perth Glory at Dorrien Gardens in the final match of the round.
