Adelaide is coming off a nil-all draw with Melbourne Victory in its A-League opener, while Western Sydney Wanderers went down at home to Brisbane Roar.
Both sides therefore are keen to get a first win on the board for season 2015-2016, and Coopers Stadium will be fit to bursting to support Guillermo Amor's Reds. On that note:
Atmosphere
Fair to say that the much hyped kick off last week fell a bit flat as the cavernous Adelaide Oval sucked up most of the atmosphere.
And while Football Federation Australia is keen to persist with using the venue in the future, Marcelo Carrusca summed up most people’s feelings in his tweet yesterday. Expect a raucous Coopers Stadium tonight.
Adelaide to keep the ball
It was only when Victory was reduced to ten that the Reds managed to assert its traditional possession supremacy.
The Amor system has been slow to click into gear, but expect the Reds midfield to see plenty of the play tonight, against a Wanderers side that will be set up to counter.

Federico Piovaccari
There’s plenty of opinion but very little consensus about Wanderers' Italian striker.
Is he the answer for a team that shed most of its striking stocks last season?
He misfired against the Roar last week, but did put himself into the position to score. Tonight he faces a backline that looked vulnerable against Berisha, and the big man’s physicality may well trouble Dylan McGowan and Osama Malik.
Jeepers Keepers
The news of Eugene Galekovic’s six week injury was a blow to the Reds hopes, however Giant John Hall proved an able replacement last week.
At the other end, there are question marks hovering over Wanderers new boy Andrew Redmayne after an uncertain debut. One time golden boy Dean Bouzanis is warming the bench... how far the mighty has fallen.
But, may get his opportunity in the not too distant future.
Tough night ahead for Neville
Last week more than half of Brisbane’s attacking play came down their left hand side.
Scott Neville can expect another tough night at the office, with Sergio Cirio the key attacking catalyst for Adelaide as they aim to create for Eli Babalj.
