Many on this list may yet obtain contracts, but they haven't had deals for 2019 announced yet. Things can happen quickly and even as late as last week, a rider with the class of Mark Renshaw was still on the list.

Renshaw rides on with Dimension Data
1. Luke Durbridge (2018 team- Mitchelton-Scott)
Durbridge is one who looks assured of a contract for 2019, with the Australian powerhouse an important domestique for the Australian-registered team and an improving force on the Classics scene. He crashed out in the national championships in January, breaking his collarbone, which disrupted his preparation for the early season classics.
This is likely a case of Mitchelton-Scott spacing out the announcements of which riders have re-signed, as there's little indication from Durbridge's camp that he is searching for a team.
2. Daniel Moreno (2018 team- EF Education First-Drapac)
The 2013 Fleche Wallonne winner endured a down year with EF Education First-Drapac, and 2018 may be his last in the professional peloton. The last time Moreno won a stage of a World Tour race was back in 2013 and he has fallen back to more of a support role, a job he did most memorably for Joaquim Rodriguez in the Spaniard's final years as a pro.
3. Giovanni Visconti (2018 team- Bahrain Merida)
Unlike many on this list, Visconti has quite a few results to his name this season, with three wins and a points jersey at the Tour of Austria, a runner-up finish at Italian nationals and a swag of top-five showings throughout the year.
It seems likely that the Italian with 31 professional wins in his career will likely find a team for 2019, likely he will stay with Bahrain Merida, though the Bahrain registered team has a pretty full squad for 2019.
4. Brendan Canty (2018 team- EF Education First-Drapac)
It's been a few years of toil for Canty in the World Tour. The popular Australian climber hasn't enjoyed the success of 2016, when a string of impressive results while at Drapac Pro Continental demanded his elevation to the World Tour peloton.
A sixth place finish from a breakaway at La Vuelta Espana is the best personal result Canty has to show over the past two years, with much of his responsibility within the team being primarily saddled with domestique duties.
5. Nic Dougall (2018 team- Dimension Data)
The South African/English/Australian cyclist is yet to announce his cycling future. The 25-year-old who grew up in Brisbane and used to race domestically in the National Road Series has built a steadfast reputation as a reliable domestique in the World Tour.
The South African registered rider's best chances of getting signed are with Dimension Data, who operate on a policy of signing African riders where possible.
