THURSDAY MAY 18 - COPPA ITALIA FINAL

JUVENTUS v LAZIO

4:45AM (AEST) - LIVE on SBS VICELAND, plus live streamed on The World Game website and app

Juventus are looking to complete an historic treble this season, and the Coppa Italia final represents the first opportunity to win silverware this season.

Standing in their way are Lazio, with a young attacking side eager to upset the Old Lady in Rome.

The match up is of course a re-match of the 2015 final, which Juve won.

SUNDAY MAY 28 - FA CUP FINAL

ARSENAL v CHELSEA

1:45AM (AEST) - LIVE on SBS, plus live streamed on The World Game website and app

Two London rivals go head-to-head in the 136th final of the world's oldest football competition.

Arsenal, who have had their worst season in years, will be looking to capture a third FA Cup in four seasons in what possibly might be coach Arsene Wenger's final match in charge of the Gunners after 20 years at the helm.

In their way are Chelsea, the standout team in England this season with a record amount of wins in the Premier League.
Antonio Conte's men will be looking to seal the double, after having already lifted the Premier League trophy.

SUNDAY MAY 28 - COPA DEL REY

BARCELONA v ALAVES

5:15AM (AEST) - LIVE on SBS, plus live streamed on The World Game website and app

Barcelona will be looking to win a record 29th Copa del Rey when they take on Alaves.

Barca's dominance in recent years is such that this will be their sixth final in eight years and should they win it will be a third Copa in a row.

Last season, Andres Iniesta produced a masterclass in the final against Sevilla, while the season before Lionel Messi scored one of the all-time great goals against Athletic Bilbao.
While Barca will be heavy favorites, don't discount Alaves completely as they beat Messi and co. 1-0 earlier this season at the Camp Nou.

SUNDAY JUNE 4 - UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL

JUVENTUS v REAL MADRID

4:15AM (AEST) - LIVE on SBS, plus live streamed on The World Game website and app

Image

Two of the great European clubs, and the two best performing teams this season, go head-to-head in world football's biggest annual match.

Real Madrid will be looking to be the first club in the Champions League era to go back-to-back after winning the title on penalties last season. It would also mean a record 12th European Cup for the Spanish giants.

Juventus are playing for a third European Cup and will be hoping to avoid losing a record 7th European final.

One streak must end as Real Madrid have never lost a Champions League final while Juventus have only ever beaten defending champions.

Juventus' defence is the best in the world - having only conceded one goal from open play in the competition - while Madrid have a ferocious attack led by record Champions League goalscorer, Cristiano Ronaldo.
