The 16-year-old scored a hat-trick inside the opening 15 minutes of the match before adding to her tally either side of half-time.
Such was Fowler's dominance, coach Gary van Egmond called for his star striker's number after just 63 minutes, as Rachel Lowe, Kyra Cooney-Cross, India-Paige Riley and Shadeene Evans completed the rout in the second half.
Fowler was recently rewarded with her maiden Matildas cap against the USA, and the Cairns-born prodigy views these qualifiers as the perfect opportunity to cement her place in Ante Milicic's FIFA Women's World Cup squad.
"It's an important tournament to show I am a goalscorer," Fowler said.
"Last time I went into a Young Matildas camp I came out (with the) golden boot and that's exactly what I plan on doing this time."
The Young Matildas are next in action against hosts Myanmar on Sunday.
