France eases through to Women's World Cup quarter-finals

France will take on Germany in the quarter-finals of the FIFA Women's World Cup Canada 2015 thanks to a comfortable 3-0 win over Korea Republic.

Two goals in the opening eight minutes gave France the perfect start, with Marie-Laure Delie netting the opener and Elodie Thomis doubling the lead soon after.

That was the way it stayed until half-time, but France made sure of victory shortly after the restart with Delie adding her second and France's third to advance to the last eight.
