The Sydney born midfielder, who impressed last season with his hometown club, moves to Western Australia after a three year stint with the Sky Blues.

“It’s been a great few years in my career so far and I am looking forward to capitalising on that experience with my move to Perth," Gligor said.

"It’s a new and exciting chapter for me and I’ll be doing my best to impress Kenny Lowe and the coaching staff to get as many starts as I possibly can."
Perth coach Kenny Lowe believes Gligor is a young and dynamic player who is sure to impress at his new club.

“Chris is another young player with a good pedigree and great potential, and we’re delighted he’s made the move here," Lowe said.

"He’s represented the Olyroos and Young Socceroos so that indicates the calibre of player he is."

Gligor broke onto the national scene after making his A-League debut as a 17 year-old against Central Coast Mariners in 2012.

He featured in the recent matches against Chelsea and Tottenham and was a substitute for Sydney FC in this year's A-League Grand Final.

Gligor, who has Romanian and Filipino heritage, has signed a one year deal with the option to extend his contract by another year.
