The 25-year-old, widely regarded as one of the world's best female players, currently splits her time between Perth and the Chicago Red Stars.
Kerr has attracted a number of lucrative offers from European clubs, which could mean splitting her time between Europe and Chicago, rather than Australia.
Speaking after the 4-2 loss to Sydney FC in the W-League grand final on Saturday, Kerr said she was yet to make a decision regarding her future.
“(I'm) just focusing on the World Cup and Chicago for now,” Kerr told Fox Sports.
"Hopefully I’ll be back.
"I love the W-League, I love the fans and I love this league, so hopefully one day soon we’ll be deciding what I’m doing.”
Currently the all-time leading scorer in the competition's history with 70 goals, Kerr made her W-League debut with Perth in 2009, joining Sydney FC three years later, before re-signing with Glory in 2014.
