Stadium Facts
Nizhny Novgorod Stadium has been built in a historical Strelka district at the confluence of the Volga and Oka rivers. The area offers a wonderful view of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, situated on the other side of the Oka.

The stadium's design is inspired by aspects of nature in the Volga region - water and wind, and boasts vivid colour patterns of white, navy blue and azure.

The massive roof that rests on a metal framework weighting more than 11,000 tonnes is set by the light façade and the translucent rooftop. By evening, the white colonnade circling the stadium will be lit up.

It is the home arena for FC Olympiec.
