The FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025™ joins the newly-launched Australian Championship, Major League Soccer (MLS), the Women's Football Weekly highlights show and the Road to FIFA World Cup 26™ hub as part of SBS' growing football offering in the lead up to next year's FIFA World Cup 26™ taking place across North America.
After securing U-20 World Cup qualification for a 16th time, the 'Young Socceroos' have been drawn alongside with football heavyweights Italy and Argentina, before closing out their group stage against Cuba.
Led by head coach Trevor Morgan, the 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup champions will bring a squad of 23 brimming with talent to Chile, including 18 currently plying their trade in the A-League Men.
In addition, Brighton and Hove Albion duo Jaylan Pearman and Daniel Bennie, Queens Park Rangers' Steven Hall, Italian-based midfielder Louis Agosti and former Adelaide United turned Randers FC star Musa Toure are also part of the squad.
The matches will be played out at favourable times for Australian audiences, with early morning kick-offs for all three Young Socceroos U20s group matches, as well as both semi-finals and the final on SBS and SBS On Demand.
