Defending champions Mathieu van der Poel and Pauline Ferrand-Prévot will return to the iconic cobblestones in 2026, where they must overcome both the course as well as their rivals in order to secure successive victories.
Standing in Ferrand-Prévot's way of defending her crown will be a difficult 148 kilometre course, where the first four cobbled sectors now follow one another in quick succession with very little tarmac between them, creating an unprecedented density of cobbles in the early race.
Van der Poel, meanwhile, has set his sights on a fourth consecutive title in northern France, where the men's peloton must traverse 259.2 kilometres complete with 30 cobbled sectors totalling 54.8 kilometres, with a similar modified early section with increased density.
You can catch all the action live and free on SBS VICELAND and SBS On Demand, with the men's race starting on April 12 before the women's edition takes place the following day.
