Time Trials

The festivities kick off today with the time trials from Federation University in Mount Helen, Victoria headlined by the elite field of men and women. Notable contenders for the women include favourite Grace Brown (FDJ Nouvelle-Aquitaine Futuroscope), who last won in 2019, Nicole Frain (Roxsolt Liv SRAM) and Danielle de Francesco (ARA Pro Racing Sunshine Coast).

Two big names will again battle it out in the elite men's event, with three-time winner Rohan Dennis (Jumbo–Visma) going up against 2019 and 2020 winner Luke Durbridge (INEOS Grenadiers) in another instalment of a duel that will produce fireworks.
Highlights of the elite men and women's time-trials as well as the para-cycling, intellectually impaired, deaf, Gran Fondo, under-19 and under-23 events will be available on SBS On Demand and Cycling Central.

Criterium

The criteriums are up next in the Ballarat CBD on Friday, with the elite men's and women's events to be streamed live on SBS On Demand. For the women, Ruby Roseman-Gannon (BikeExchange Jayco) looks to be the favourite after a second-placed finish behind the now-retired Annette Edmondson last year. She'll be going up against other contenders Matilda Raynolds (InForm TMX MAKE) and Peta Mullens (Roxsolt Liv SRAM).
Durbridge will again contest the men's event alongside fellow strong BikeExchange Jayco teammate Cam Meyer, as they'll compete alongside names like Brenton Jones (InForm TMX MAKE), Nick White (Team BridgeLane) and Craig Wiggins (Sunshine Coast).

As well as the elite events, highlights of the under-19, under-23 and masters criteriums will be available on SBS On Demand and Cycling Central.

Road Races

The landmark road races will take place on Saturday and Sunday in Buninyong, with the under-23 men's race live streaming to SBS On Demand and highlights from the Para-cycling, intellectually impaired and deaf and under-19 events also available.

The elite women's road race promises to be a thrilling watch, as Brown headlines a field including international riders Neve Bradbury (Canyon-SRAM) and Rachel Neylan (Cofidis), as well as strong domestic hopefuls in Carlee Taylor and Matilda Raynolds (InForm TMX MAKE) and Peta Mullens (Roxsolt Liv SRAM).

With WorldTour riders few and far between for the men, all eyes will be on BikeExchange Jayco's trio of Durbridge, reigning champion Meyer and Callum Scotson as they go up against Lucas Plapp (INEOS Grenadiers) and the potentially dangerous Jumbo-Visma duo of Rohan Dennis and Chris Harper.

Both elite races, as well as the under-23 women's race will be broadcast live on SBS with highlights available following the events on SBS On Demand and Cycling Central.
