According to reports in the UK, Ibrahimovic gave his 46-year-old model wife, Helena Seger, a picture of him celebrating his goal against West Bromwich Albion, which he scored a week before Christmas.

The shot received plenty of social commentary online as it shows team-mate Jesse Lingard looking frightened as the 35-year-old striker jumped in his direction.

Ibrahimovic, who earns $18.5 million (£11 million) per season at United, received the 'easy gift' from a club staffer at their Carrington training ground.

"Ibra was cracking up about the picture and said he would take it home to give his wife for Christmas," a source close to the club told The Sun.

"He got it a couple of days before so it was an easy gift.

"Some of the lads and staff at Carrington were laughing about it - he’s not shy of a wind-up or two."

The charismatic Ibrahimovic has form when it comes to getting presents for his wife and when once asked what he would get her for a birthday present, he 'charmingly' replied: "Nothing, she already has Zlatan."
