Zidane spent five successful seasons as a player with the Bianconeri before his move to Real Madrid for a then-world record transfer fee.
He has been linked with a director's role at Juve since standing down as coach of Los Blancos.
Yesterday he recorded a message, in still-fluent Italian, addressing supporters of Juventus and perhaps hinting at a move.
“Ciao everyone,” Zidane said.
“I’m here with Cristiano from Madrid, and I wanted to send a greeting to everyone.
"I hope to come to Turin soon to spend a bit of time with you.
“A salute to you all, and forza Juve!”
In his two-and-a-half seasons coaching Madrid, Zizou won the UEFA Champions league three times and La Liga once.
He has been on sabbatical since resigning from the post.
