Iceland's party continues as 10,000 fans welcome their heroes home

While Iceland's fairytale EURO 2016 campaign came to an end at the hands of France on Monday morning (AEST), 10,000 Icelandic fans have paid tribute to their side with an epic Viking war chant.

Playing in their first major tournament, Iceland reached the quarter-finals against all the odds, including an historic upset win over England.

Iceland's players got in on the act, leading the Viking chant, along with a drummer, as their legions of fans bayed for more.
