'It's van Avermaet', says Greg in hilarious pronunciation video

A hilarious pronunciation video has been released following Mitchelton-Scott director Matt White butchering Greg van Avermaet's name over the team radio.

The amusing clip was published to social media using the infamous Muppets running gag from 1977.

Team director White's mispronunciation of van Avermaet's name - during the Tour de France no less - is represented in a way which mimics the tune in the Muppets sketch. 

The CCC Team then return serve, with Beligum's van Avermaet correcting White to kick start the tune.

One thing is for sure - both White and us all, will remember this the next time we try to pronounce the 35-year-old's name!
