Janko scores winner before being sent-off

Former Sydney FC striker Marc Janko has scored the winning goal for FC Basel before being sent-off in their 2-1 win over FC Sion in the Swiss Super League.

The 33-year-old scored his sixth goal in 12 matches when he swept home a 76th minute winner that was created by a slice of fortune. 

However just eight minutes later the Austrian international was given a second yellow card for a dangerous high foot challenge.

FC Basel managed to hold on despite being a man down and remain undefeated after 16 matches, giving them a 15 point lead over Young Boys.
