It's the second straight year the 26-year-old has taken home the Best International Women's Soccer Player gong edging Norwegian star Ada Hegerberg and England winger Lucy Bronze.

Kerr was one of the big winners on the night which included Lionel Messi taking out Men's Best International Soccer Player and Zlatan Ibrahimovic named Best MLS Player

Kerr last season broke the NWSL all-time scoring record as well as climbing the competition's Golden Boot honour for the second year.

She currently leads the scoring charts again this season with nine goals for Chicago Red Stars.

US star Alex Morgan was crowned Best Female Athlete  while the Women's World Cup winning US team took out best team.
