WATCH the 2027 Kooyong Classic - LIVE and FREE on SBS and SBS On Demand from January 12-14.

SBS and SBS On Demand will continue as the place to watch the 2027 and 2028 editions of the Kooyong Classic live and free in Australia, where some of the world's best men's and women's singles players take the court at the spiritual home of Australian tennis a week before the Australian Open.

An iconic event in the Australian summer of Tennis, the latest edition of the tournament boasted a star-studded field, with the men's list including Nick Kygrios (AUS), Alexander Zverev (GER), Karen Khachanov (RUS) and Matteo Berrettini (ITA) and women's players Alexandra Eala (PHI), Daniela Hantuchova (SVK), Donna Vekic (CRO) and Priscilla Hon (AUS).

“Free-to-air sport remains incredibly important in Australia, and we’re proud that tennis fans around the country will once again be able to experience the Kooyong Classic live on SBS and SBS On Demand," Peter Johnston, Kooyong Classic director said in a statement.

“The Kooyong Classic continues to attract many of the world’s leading men and women players, all looking for their final tune up of the Australian Open.

“To have SBS continue alongside us for the next two years is a strong vote of confidence in both the tournament, players and audience it continues to attract.”

SBS Director of Sport, Ken Shipp added, “We’re delighted to extend SBS’s partnership with the Kooyong Classic for a further two years and continue bringing this iconic event to Australians free-to-air and on SBS On Demand.

"We look forward to another outstanding lineup of international tennis stars taking to one of Australia’s most historic tennis venues in January.

“The Kooyong Classic is a strong fit for SBS’s distinctive global sport offering, alongside major events including the FIFA World Cup™ and cycling’s Grand Tours. This partnership reflects SBS’s ongoing commitment to delivering world-class sport that is accessible to all Australians.”
