Approximately 90mm to 200mm of rain is predicted to fall throughout the region, rendering the route unsafe for riders.

The decision to cancel the event was made in consultation with New South Wales government agencies and in agreement with the Kiama Municipal Council, Shoalhaven City Council and Wingecarribee Council.

As from Monday, riders will receive a full refund for the cancelled event, with the exact dates for L'Etape's next edition still to be confirmed.
