beIN Sports Turkey report the former Sevilla, Manchester City and Valencia marksman Negredo, who currently plays for Besiktas, is the man Sydney FC have identified to replace Bobo, who netted 42 goals in 57 A-League games.

Negredo, 32, boasts an impressive CV, having also netted 10 goals in 21 appearances for Spain, and could be the ideal marquee man for a Sky Blues outfit looking for reinforcements after key duo Bobo and attacking midfielder Adrian Mierzejewski moved on.

The A-League club had previously been linked with a move for Negredo's compatriot Fernando Torres, but he opted for a move to Japanese side Sagan Tosu.
