Neymar accused of rape - Globo, citing police report

A woman has accused PSG's Neymar of raping her in Paris, Brazil's Globo website reported on Sunday (AEST), citing a police report of the accusation from a Sao Paulo police station.

Neymar's representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Globo reported that a representative for Neymar declined to comment, awaiting details of the allegations.

The crime is alleged to have occurred in a hotel in Paris on May 15 at 8:20pm. 

The woman, a Brazilian from Sao Paulo, "was emotionally shaken and afraid to register the case in another country, deciding to register it at the police station in São Paulo, where she lives," reports Globo.
