The team made a unique reveal of the team, commissioning its fans to make the rider announcements over several days on social media.

The 35-year-old Swiss veteran is competing for the last time in the race before retirement. He has seven stage wins to his name.

Cancellera is joined by Spain’s Haimar Zubeldia, for whom this is a 15th appearance in the race, Markel Irizar, Frank Schleck, and Gregory Rast, all of whom are over 35.

Dutch rider Bauke Mollema, sixth overall in 2013, will also be in the line-up along with American Peter Stetina.
