Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil reportedly swore at the club doctor after being approached to undergo a drug test after the Gunners' defeat to Tottenham on Monday (AEST).

According to reports from The Evening Standard and The Mirror, Arsenal's team doctor Gary O'Driscoll told the 28 year-old that he had been randomly selected for the test.

Ozil was seen throwing his arms in the air in displeasure, telling the doctor to ""f**k off" and refusing to take part as he believed he had been forced to take part in too many of the exams during the season.

Observers claim the German international then kicked the door in frustration, eventually agreeing to undergo the test.

The 2-0 derby defeat ensured that Arsenal will finish below Spurs for the first time in the Premier League in 22 years.
