Here's a look at the potential twists and turns that we could see in the top six by the end of round 27 and what each Premiers Plate contender has to do to take out top spot.

Scenarios where Brisbane Roar win the title:

Brisbane Roar beat Melbourne Victory
Brisbane Roar draw to Melbourne Victory, Adelaide lose or draw to Melbourne City, Wanderers lose or draw to Wellington

Scenarios where Adelaide United win the title:

Adelaide United beat Melbourne City, and Brisbane Roar lose or draw to Melbourne Victory
Adelaide United draw with Melbourne City, Brisbane Roar lose to Melbourne Victory and Wanderers lose or draw to Wellington

Scenarios where Western Sydney Wanderers win the title:

Western Sydney beat Wellington, Brisbane Roar lose or draw to Melbourne Victory and Adelaide United either draw or lose to Melbourne City

Scenarios where Melbourne City win the title:

Melbourne City beat Adelaide Untied, Brisbane Roar lose to Melbourne Victory and Wanderers lose or draw to Wellington

Best v worst top four hopefuls can finish:

Brisbane: 1st-3rd
Adelaide United: 1st-5th
Wanderers: 1st-5th
Melbourne City: 1st-5th
Perth Glory: 3rd-6th
Melbourne Victory: 5th-6th

Craziest scenarios possible:

In the battle for fifth: If Perth lose 1-0 to Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory win 9-6 against Brisbane Roar. Perth and Victory would be exactly equal on points, goal difference and goals for and against. Perth would win on a superior head to head record.

In the battle for 3rd and 4th or (4th and 5th If Perth win): If Wanderers draw 1-1 to Wellington and Adelaide Untied lose 6-0 to Melbourne City, United and Wanderers would be exactly equal on points, goal difference and goals for and against. Wanderers would win on a superior head to head record.
