Real Madrid to premier 'Silver Glory' kit at MCG

Real Madrid will play in its new away kit against Manchester City at the MCG on Friday. While most people would identify the kit's colour as grey, according to Madrid it's 'Silver Glory'.

The Spanish giant's website states: "the kit's grey colour, which is called Silver Glory, is Adidas' way of paying tribute to all the trophies Real Madrid have won over the course of the club's history, as well as all those titles still to come."

Silver is not often the colour associated with glory, particularly for Manchester United and it's dreaded grey kit, but that does not seem to have phased the 10-time European champion.

Notably absent from the photo Real Madrid released was club captain Sergio Ramos who is being targeted by Manchester United.
