The onboard cameras introduced at this year's Tour de France may not always provide the most scintillating viewing, but the footage from Stage 4 from is a different story altogether.

This rider view video from Stage 4 is a stark insight into the chaos of the cobbles: you can practically feel how hard the peloton is being thrown around on the cobbles, the panic of trying to find the best line and the relief when the smooth tarmac returns.
