While the Ballarat/Buninyong area in Victoria is currently not under threat, Cycling Australia and event organisers will continue regular contact with emergency services, including the Country Fire Association (CFA) and Victoria Police regarding the situation.
Cycling Australia will also monitor air quality, another risk for riders and fans amidst the current national catastrophe.
