After a four-year stint in the Korea Republic with K-League club Gyeongnam FC, the 25-year-old has signed with Roar through to the end of the A-League season.

"To rejoin the Hyundai A-League Champions is a tremendous opportunity," said DeVere who played 65 times for Roar from 2008 to 2011.

"The Roar has a big second half of the season, not just in the A-League but also with their return to the AFC Champions League.

"There are lots of challenges ahead and I am keen to play whatever role the football department thinks can best help the team."

Devere will be available for selection for Roar's first A-League game back after the AFC Asian Cup break against Wellington Phoenix at Suncorp Stadium on Monday, 2 February.
