Rogic left out completely as Socceroos starting XI revealed

After a week of debate over whether Tom Rogic should be allowed to stay back in Scotland to play in the Old Firm derby, Graham Arnold has elected to leave the Celtic midfielder out of the Socceroos squad completely to take on Oman.

Some Scottish fans were furious that Rogic was called into camp ahead of the Asian Cup in the UAE, meaning he could not play in Celtic's match with Rangers overnight.

However, Rogic will not play at all in Australia's last friendly before the tournament.

Robbie Kruse, Andrew Nabbout and Awer Mabil start up front, with Mustafa Amini, Chris Ikonomidis and Mark Milligan in midfield. Aziz Behich, Trent Sainsbury, Milos Degenek and Rhyan Grant make up the back four, with Mat Ryan in goals.
