Sanchez reportedly wants out of Arsenal after training ground bust-up

Media reports out of England are claiming that Alexis Sanchez wants to leave Arsenal after storming out of a training session prior to starting Arsenal's crucial clash away to Liverpool on the bench.

Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger's decision to start Sanchez on the bench against Liverpool stunned many, with the Frenchman justifying the decision after the match as a tactical move.

However The Guardian is now reporting that Sanchez "stormed out of out of an Arsenal training session last week and was involved in a dressing-room slanging match with some of his team-mates – which was, seemingly, part of the reason why Wenger dropped him from the starting XI at Liverpool."

With four losses in their past six matches, Sanchez is understood to be incredibly frustrated with his teammates and Wenger.

He was visibly furious during Arsenal's 5-1 loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League due to his side's lack of intensity as well as after Olivier Giroud celebrated a late equalizer against Bournemouth rather than get the ball and push for a winning goal.

It appears these frustrations boiled over last week during Arsenal's preparations for Liverpool.

"Sánchez stunned his team-mates by walking out of the session and, when they returned to the changing rooms to find him, there were angry words between some of them and him. The flashpoint is believed to have kicked off after an incident with another player," writes David Hytner in The Guardian.

Sanchez joined Arsenal in 2014 from Barcelona and the Gunners are desperate to have him re-sign with his current contract up in June 2018.

That seems unlikely at this stage with The Daily Mail  reporting that he was "furious and humiliated after being dropped by Wenger" and "Sanchez has now made the decision no to sign a new deal at the Emirates Stadium with the intention of leaving before the start of next season."

"Wenger has been less than impressed with Sanchez's attitude in recent weeks, particularly his behaviour during the crushing loss to Bayern Munich," writes Sami Mokbel.

"Sanchez was seen berating his team-mates at the Allianz Arena, and it can be revealed his finger-pointing continued in the dressing room after the game.

"His team-mates have noticed Sanchez has become much more distant in recent weeks.

"Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus will launch bids for Sanchez, who has rejected an offer of a new deal worth £180,000 ($291,550) per week in the summer.

"The French club are willing to offer Sanchez a deal worth £300,000 ($485,920), which is far more than Arsenal are willing to offer."

The future of Arsenal's other top player, Mesut Ozil, is also in doubt with his contract also expiring the same time as Sanchez's. Meanwhile, Wenger's own future is uncertain with growing calls for him to leave after failing to win a Premier League title in over 12 years.
