The World Game team will go LIVE at 7:30pm (AEST) each match day throughout the World Cup with all the latest news, views and highlights ahead of the next night of action.

Hosted by Lucy Zelic, along with special guests, #WorldGameLive will deliver exclusive content, a preview of the night’s matches, analysis, Q and A’s and also cast a spotlight on the social media reaction to the biggest sporting event on the planet.

SBS will live stream #WorldGameLIVE exclusively on Twitter each match day - with a minimum of 23 shows in total - during the tournament, from 15 June to 16 July.

#WorldGameLIVE will be available to Twitter users in Australia for FREE.
Fans can also tune in to video highlights of each game, with every goal scored, interviews with players and coaches, and official press conference clips, all available via @TheWorldGame Twitter.

"SBS has been broadcasting football for nearly four decades - it’s a sport that really connects Australia’s diverse communities," SBS Director of Sport, Ken Shipp said.

"As one of the most multicultural countries, the 2018 FIFA World Cup is a great moment for us all to come together to cheer on the Socceroos and other teams across the globe.
"We’re always looking for innovative ways to connect our audiences to a range of content on the devices and platforms they use most.

"Sport is something that people love to share and this partnership with Twitter enables all Australians to re-live and share in the excitement."
