Socceroos youngster Ikonomidis scores debut goal in Salernitana draw

Australia midfielder Chris Ikonomidis scored his debut senior goal when he netted for Salernitana in the Serie B side's 2-2 draw with Ascoli on Sunday (AEST).

The 20 year-old is on loan from Lazio and has become a regular with the struggling Serie B club, but this was the first time he found the net for his new side.

Ikonomidis' goal made it 2-1 before a stoppage time equaliser earned a point for the visitors, who remain the relegation playoff places.
