Miguel Angel Guerrero's stoppage-time equaliser denied Granada a first win since August and keeps the Andalusians bottom of the Primera Division.
Bernado gave the host an ideal start by opening the scoring with just eight minutes on the clock, but Piti levelled for Jose Ramon Sandoval's side shortly afterwards.
Isaac Success put the visitor ahead five minutes before the break and then Youssef El Arabi thought he had sealed the win by adding a third in the second half.
But Nacho Cases and Guerrero had other ideas and salvaged a point, a challenge made easier by the dismissals of Miguel Lopes and Doria.
Sporting beat Espanyol in its last game with a late winner and got off on the right foot here when Bernado nodded home Lora's cross.
Cases nearly doubled the hosts' lead but was denied by a great save by Andres Fernandez and a couple of minutes later Piti made Sporting pay by diverting El Arabi's wayward effort into the net.
Success, a threat throughout, rattled a strike in at the near post to give his side the lead at the interval after he cut in from the left.
Sporting felt it should have been awarded a penalty in the second half when Doria clipped Lora in the area and their frustrations were compounded two minutes later when El Arabi struck Granada's third.
The visitor was reduced to nine men in the space of a frantic final few minutes as Lopes and the hapless Doria were sent off, both for receiving two yellow cards.
In between, Cases pulled one back for Sporting, after some fine work from Barcelona loanee Alen Halilovic and then Guerrero rifled home to clinch its thrilling comeback in the fourth minute of stoppage time.
